Understanding attention in the human mind

We are the Neuropsychology and Cognition Group — experimental and neuropsychological approaches to cognition across the life span.

Who we are

A small but enthusiastic group studying brain, mind & behavior

We are a research group within the Department of Psychology of the University of the Balearic Islands, the University's Research Institute for Health Sciences (iUNICS), and part of the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de Palma (IdISBa). Our work involves experimental and neuropsychological approaches to cognition across the life span. While part of our research focuses on fundamental core mechanisms and processes, we are also interested in factors susceptible to affect these, positively or negatively: certain neurological and psychological disorders, emotions, physical activity and cognitive reserve.

We're a small but enthusiastic group including senior and younger researchers and keen to get undergraduate students involved in our projects. We love what we do and we have fun doing it together!
